How to buy cryptocurrencies and pay the invoice

Follow the steps in order. You can return to all guides at any time.

Before you startKeep your device and service details nearby. Never share passwords or verification codes in a public chat.

If you have never paid with cryptocurrencies, follow the steps in the order indicated. Buying crypto and paying the invoice are two different operations: after the purchase, you must also send it to the address indicated on your invoice.

Crypto discount: 5%
The discount is applied on the invoice with the eligible method. Check the updated total before paying. Platform and network fees are separate and may reduce the savings.

Before you begin: four simple terms

Platform/exchange: the service where you buy and send cryptocurrencies.
Wallet/address: the payment destination, to be copied from the invoice.
Network: the network on which you send the crypto; it must be the one requested.
Fees: purchase or sending costs applied by the platform and the network.

Complete procedure: from order to payment

  1. Open the correct invoice on the portal

Access the client area, open the invoice to be paid, and select the cryptocurrency method. In the payment process, choose an available currency and read the network, amount, address, and request expiry. Do not buy a currency that is not accepted in the procedure.

  2. Choose a platform that allows sending

You may use a platform of your choice, for example those shown in the Revolut or Binance guides below. Before buying, verify that your account allows you to send that currency on the required network to an external address. Availability, limits, and button names depend on the platform and the country. Being able to buy crypto in the app is not enough.

  3. Register and verify your account

If you do not already have an account on the platform, register and complete the required verifications, which may include an identity document. Use only the official app or website. Do not share passwords, verification codes, or recovery words with staff or other people.

  4. Add euros and buy the required currency

Follow the platform procedure to add funds by card or bank transfer, if available. In the purchase section, select the crypto accepted by the invoice. Check the total cost and fees before confirming. You must have sufficient balance for the payment and for sending costs: buying exactly the euro equivalent of the total may not be enough.

  5. Return to the invoice before sending

Check that the payment request is still valid. Copy the full address and the crypto amount shown at that time. If the request has expired, update the procedure on the portal before making the transfer. Do not reuse an address or amount from an old invoice.

  6. Send the crypto to the correct recipient

On the platform, look for Send/Withdraw/Transfer to an external wallet. Paste the invoice address, select the same currency and the same network and enter the requested amount. Do not choose the cheapest network if it is different from the one requested. If other mandatory data are indicated, such as memo/tag, copy them exactly.

  7. Check the summary before confirming

Verify the address, currency, network and especially how much the recipient will receive. If the platform deducts the fee from the amount sent, the recipient would receive less than due: correct the amount according to the platform summary, without changing the amount due on the invoice. Confirm only when the details match.

  8. Wait for confirmation and check the invoice

Keep the receipt and the transaction ID (TXID/hash). Return to the portal: the payment is recognized after the confirmations required by the network and the service is activated upon payment confirmation. A purchase completed on the platform does not mean the invoice is paid: the transfer must have been executed and confirmed.

Warning before pressing Send
A crypto transfer generally cannot be canceled. An incorrect address or network can cause loss of funds. If any field is unclear, ask for assistance before sending, not after.

Illustrated guides already available

To see the steps with images, consult the guide for the platform you use. Menus may change: the address, network, and amount to use are always those of your current invoice.

Have you already sent but the invoice is not paid?

Do not repeat the payment immediately. Check on the platform whether the transfer is still being processed or has been completed. Open a ticket indicating the invoice number, currency, network, amount, date/time and TXID; attach the receipt without passwords or private codes. If the amount received is insufficient or the request had expired, ask the staff how to proceed before sending more.
